She was the Queen Of The Chatrooms back in the late 1990s. MsJami was a Chicago girl with beauty and charm galore. Her skill at being in multiple chatrooms was legendary.
She would take off to meet a chatroom amigo once the spellbound man sent her the bus fare.
Sometimes it was just for kicks. Other times it was "romantic".
It was 1997 and the blue-eyed McAllen, Texas resident travelled to Pennsylvania to spend time with a young man from a prominent family. They owned an ambulance company.
MsJami even dangled marriage in front of Grape Ape. Grape Ape was his chatroom handle. He was smitten.
Grape Ape's mom broke the spell when she clashed with the online siren.
MsJami headed back to her home in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
By November of 1997 she was headed for Phoenix, Arizona. She was off to marry a man whom she had met in a chatrooom. He worked as a computer tech for the police department. MsJami had plans of landing a job as a substitute teacher. Things were looking sweet and bright!
It all fell apart on the second week! She had an arguement with her chatroom Romeo. She locked herself in his bathroom and slit her wrists. The poor man kicked the door down to save her.
She was rushed to the hospital. She recovered thankfully.
